Why I’m Choosing Digital Marketing

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I like to write honestly about where I’m at in life. And right now, I’m in the middle of a transition. Moving from being unsure about my true purpose to carving out my place in the digital marketing world.
Hi, I’m Saina, and you’re reading Sainaslife.
I didn’t stumble into digital marketing by accident. It’s not just “the trendy field”. It’s where all the things I’m naturally good at come together: writing, creativity, storytelling, strategy, and making complicated things feel simple and human.
For example, I’ve been running this blog for a while, and it’s not just a place for me to vent or share thoughts. It’s my little laboratory. Every SEO trick I learn, every piece of content I optimize, I test it here. When I see organic traffic coming in because of a change I made, it feels like magic, except it’s not magic, it’s skill. It’s proof that what I’m learning works in practice and I gotta admit that fills my heart with joy.
Alongside that, I’m building up on my skills and plan to broaden my knowledge in digital marketing. I'm proud to present that I'm finally finishing the Google Fundamentals of Digital Marketing course and getting ready to take on new ones that i'm even more excited about, such as Google ads and content marketing 101.

But let’s be real, certificates mean nothing if you can’t apply the knowledge. That’s where I think I stand out. I don’t just study, I create. I’ve written over 40 blog posts, grown social media accounts, run a small jewelry business online, and even taught myself web design. I get excited about connecting with people through words, visuals, and strategy. I'm mostly excited about the Google ads course, because I plan to apply the knowledge of it on my blog, and if you're my current subscriber and been loyal since the beginning you'll get to see the change step by step, and if you're here by Google ads, then welcome, you are the literal proof that my plan has worked out!
What drives me? Probably a mix of stubbornness and ADHD. Even though ADHD at the first look might seem scary, but I have learned that it can actually be used in positive ways. ADHD makes it harder for me to stick to boring tasks, but it also means I hyperfocus on the things I care about. And when I care about something, I go all in. Digital marketing has that effect on me, it challenges me, keeps me on my toes, and gives me those dopamine hits when I see results. That is precisely why I finally decided that this is the right path.
So where does that leave me now? Actively looking for opportunities to challenge myself and not only to be productive to the society but to learn from any environment i'm surrounded by. I’m looking for a place where I can grow, contribute, and put all this restless creative energy to good use.
I know job hunting could be a bit frustrating but it also teaches you resilience and persistence. You don't have to be accepted by all, you just need to be accepted by the right one. So if you're like me, looking for opportunities for a while and having be able to land one so far, don't give up, use the time on your hand to build up on your skills and try to be a better version of yourself the than you were yesterday.
As always see you in the next post and thank you for reading my blog!
With love,
Saina
